Championing user-centered-design and Agile philosophies. Working closely with UI Designers, Product Managers, Software Engineers, Analytics, Optimisation, Data Science, Brand and Marketing teams.

Defining and contributing to workflow, process and product strategy on multiple projects. Providing insight on all projects from qualitative and quantitative user research, as well as wireframes, user flows, prototypes or other supportive visuals. Focusing on understanding and solving problems, and creating delight for homepage users across all platforms.

UX Designer, ITV

Working alongside the UX&D, Product team and development teams to deliver innovative user-centered design solutions, ensuring quality and usability for the broad ITV audience.

Contributing to strategy, vision, design and optimisation, focusing on web, whilst ensuring consistency across iOS, Android, tv and game-console platforms.

Delivering new features and iterative improvements – including performing a key role in defining the ITV Hub+ on-site and in-app experience.

Collaborating with multiple teams in an Agile environment to create better experiences both online and offline. Utilising analytics tools, user testing and other research techniques to gain insights to feed into the design and development process.

Leading and contributing to projects, across different channels and platforms. Performing a key role in improving the homepage experience on web, as well as iteratively improvements across all platforms.

Designer, HAVAS LYNX
June 2013 – April 2015

Part of the Studio team, producing design work for national and international clients, including Janssen and AstraZeneca. Communicating the clients message with high visual impact and clarity.

Providing solutions tailored to the client and their customer on a variety of projects across print mediums and digital platforms. Including print advertisements that featured in Manchester City Centre, posters, booklets, branding and identity design, storyboards and assets for short animations.

As well as producing rapid prototypes for clients who want to reach and support patients or sales teams through smartphone and tablet apps. Creating anything from simple flows created with Marvel, to more functional prototypes created using Axure and Pixate.

Part of the internal LYNX Ambassadors program, aimed at improving employee experience, setting and meeting corporate responsibility and environmental targets.

Ideas-driven studio-based course where a variety of approaches to visual communication were explored. Working on personal and industry-related projects, focusing on contemporary and relevant design. Connecting with industry, either through visiting speakers such as Ian Anderson and Anthony Burrill, live briefs and work experience.
